Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. She made her debut in the year 2001. She had a smaller role on the show Home and Away. The performance she gave in that small character was so impressive that the agent who cast the show requested her to be cast in the principal characters in the show. She auditioned however for the role but was not picked. In the show, she portrayed the character Cassie Turner which was the teen with a history of trouble with a foster family.
