Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese origin and grew up within Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family that has strong roots in the South of America. Olivia's parents separated at age two. She grew up with her mother, who worked with the United States Air Force, and also her stepfather. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma and resided in many areas, she was educated at Tokyo, Japan. While in Japan, she appeared as an actor in local theatre performances, and later turned into a Japanese modeling model. Olivia moved from Japan to Los Angeles when her family had moved back to her home in the United States to follow her dream to be an actress. After a few minor parts, Olivia landed a role after she was cast as Mily Acua on the Hawaii filmed TV series Beyond the Break 2006 and the role of receptionist for Rob Schneider. She is the host of "The Daily Nut" as well as the "Formula D" podcasts on G4. Surfing is her passion, and she practices it ever since she appeared on the television show Beyond the Break (2006). She has also earned a black belt for taekwondo. At the age of two, her mother remarried. The second time, she got married to an US Air Force serviceman. Despite the fact that the family moved a frequently, her mother took her to Tokyo in Japan, where she stayed within the military. University of Oklahoma.
