Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the year 1962. She is a famous American actress. After her debut on film during 1983's Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy was born in the United States and is an actor and an writer. Sheedy began her acting career by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Her debut success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club is considered as one of most memorable films of high school cinema. While the budget for the film was only $1 million, it made more than $50 million in profits. Also, she began to appear in a variety of TV programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. The show was for teens that began to air in April of 1980. The actress also appeared in other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 due to her performances. She also was honored with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
